- Marcus Pacheco: My first of many Starstruck interviews :) — Marcus hadn’t published anything in years by this point, and thanks to Adrian and Grime’s help getting an introduction, we successfully booked the interview while I was in town! Amazing! I was very excited and grateful to have this opportunity. Every little piece of the TAM Zine was in the DIY, punk rock spirit — “winging it” was the norm — anything to capture the words and pictures —their stories — by air, auto and even by train on this trip (a first for me); It was an adventure! — sleeping on couches, trying to set up video and audio devices (sans any lights) and hoping they worked (*more than a few times, they didn’t😅) —
By this point we had tons of people suggesting things, changes, and other interviews — and I always had the same reply:

- “Can you make that happen ? — Would you like to do the interview, film it, collect photos, and help make it real?” — because the only difference between an idea and an article was often mere manpower— and the strangest part is how many actually did pitch in to make it happen!! (Helping [to me] is Kinda The opposite of complaining;) —

Thank you again, everyone who pitched in even a little by helping us capture tattooing in that moment in time, as best we could !! The best of the past, the present, and we really did well with some heroes of its (then) future, No?
